My short world

Sodele nach immerhin 2 Wochen Schule mal ein erster Zwischenreport: Das ganze ansich geht zwar mir leider etwas zu langsam los, trotzalledem sind die Kurse, die wir hatten und haben werden, recht interessant und sehr abwechslungsreich. Es ist sehr angenehm nicht Montag bis Freitag immer das gleiche zu haben sondern einen Tag mal aeh nen Photoshop Kurs, am darauffolgenden Tag Mathematik und Projektzeit. Dadurch, dass wir Programmierer ein Semester(von Vier) mit den Artists zusammen Unterricht haben, bekommen wir auch Grundlagen in Art mit. Das heist fuer mich jetzt zwar nicht, dass ich mir dieses 80,- Euro Anatomiebuch kaufe aberErfahrung die ich schon immer machen wollte.

Sehr interessant auch die neusten Entwicklungen in unserem Jahrgang: Wir bekommen die Cryengine 2. Das bietet richtig interessante Moeglichkeiten. Wies genau aussieht mit Projekten die wir damit machen, ka aber soweit ich atm weis ham die da das Recht die Projekte als erste zu sehen. Mal schaun was sich daraus ergibt. Jetzt ist erstmal Projekt 100 angesagt. Ein Miniprojekt ueber eine relativ kurze Zeit.

Naja nach der Games Convention in Leipzig, besuchte ich heute die IFA 2007 in Berlin. Wie ich mir dachte waren 98% der ganzen Aussteller relativ uninterssant fuer mich(Spielekonsolenhuellen, Kabel,…) und der ganze Messeplatz selbst ist auch im ersten Blick ein sehr sehr undurchsichtiges Gedoehns.

Im gegensatz zu  Leipzig hat man naemlich nicht 4 grosse Hallen sondern zig kleine Bereiche die zusaetzlich dazu noch auf 3 Stockwerke verteilt sind. Da das ganze Areal nicht sehr klein ist, ist es auch entsprechend weit von Anfang der Messeanlage zum Ende. Schlecht wenn man am Ausgang feststellt, dass der Casiooutdoorbereich, den man unbedingt noch sehen will, am anderen Ende ist.

Naja was gabs nun alles schoenes zu sehen? Von Loewe gab es schoene Fernseher zu sehen die zudem auch Motoren im Standfuss haben, damit man den TFT drehen kann(per Fernbedienung). Per Hand geht das btw. mehr als leicht. Sehr angenehm. Was ganz interssantes:

Der neue Zen von Creative: Er ist sehr handlich, hat ein 2,5″ Farbdisplay mit 16Mille Farben und kann Videos abspielen. Die Videos immerhin in Divx oder Xvid codiert und mit fast ausreichenden 320 X 2xx Pixel kann man sich sogar Filme und co gut ansehen. Optimal fuer ne kleine Simpsonsfolge oder aehnliches. Dabei ist das nicht alles: Radio, eine Diktierfunktion, Weckerfunktion und ganz was tolles: Eine Kalenderfunktion. Dabei sollte man jetzt nicht denken “Jaja und am Ende ist der Akku das Problem” eben nicht! 5h Videos oder 25h Musik nonstop. Gut es koennte etwas mehr sein aber fuer nen langen Tag reicht es voellig und spaetestens dann kommt einem schon wieder ne USB-Buchse ueber den Weg und wenn nicht, kauft man sich halt son USB-Buster. Ach der Preis, haett ich fast vergessen ; ) nur schlappe 150,- Euro fuer die Version mit integrierten 4gig(er ist mit sd und sdhc erweiterbar). Allerdings kann ich diesen Preis nicht bestaetigen, es sind halt um die 99 Pfund die ich gefunden habe.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with an unanimous “yes.” The professor then produced two cans of beer from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

“Now,” said the professor, as the laughter subsided, “I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things–your family, your children, your health, your friends, your favorite passions–things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, your car. The sand is everything else–the small stuff. If you put the sand into the jar first,” he continued, “there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house, and fix the disposal. “Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.”

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the beer represented.

The professor smiled. “I’m glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there’s always room for a couple of beers.”

nachdem ich sonst immer recht lange Blogeintraege bei blog.de mache, wollt ich eigentlich schon immer mal son kurzen Blog. Son Blog wo man mal kurz schreiben kann was man gemacht hat oder was man der Welt kurz mitteilen will.

So das solls auch schon gewesen sein. Morgen wird wohl dann der erste richtige folgen. Eins sei aber noch vorweggenommen: WordPress is cool =).

Ach ja: ich muss mir dann unbedingt paar gute Tags ueberlegen die ich dann auch durchziehe sonst verschwende ich wieder das Tagpotenzial
